Prenatal Care
The goal of prenatal care is twofold: to keep mom as comfortable as possible, and to optimize pelvic positioning so that baby can get in position for birth.
I am certified in the Webster technique, which is a specific protocol that balances the pelvis and reduces stress on the uterus and supporting ligaments. This can create space in the pelvis and reduce tension, thus allowing baby more room to get in optimal position.

Pregnancy changes the biomechanics of a woman's body. The ligaments are looser, the center of gravity shifts, and the baby continues to grow as all of this happens. These changes can cause discomfort, but chiropractic care can help.

The bottom line is, moms do NOT need to suffer through pregnancy. Chiropractic care is gentle, effective and safe.
Webster Technique
Webster Technique is a specific diagnostic protocol and adjustment that aims to correct sacroiliac (SI) joint dysfunction.

As baby grows, there is an increase in pressure and stress on the uterine ligaments, pelvis and low back. Webster Technique aims to correct these imbalances and optimize space in the pelvis for baby to get into position. Keeping the pelvis and body symmetrical and balanced also keeps mom comfortable so she doesn't have to suffer through her pregnancy with aches and pains.
